Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay

Hotel was amazing beds were very comfortable and clean and the shower was amazing and the parallel parking in-front of the room was amazing. Service at the front desk was very on point and courteous.The hotel is amazing and has ice machine and vending machines for water and soft drinks and is in a great location close to a Denny’s and a mandarin house right across the street. Overall great stay!

Well, this review is an odd mix. There are lots of shabby &/or dirty areas at this facility, Stairwells and trash cans particularly. The rooms were very comfortable. Slept like a baby! There was a giant rip on the inner, sheer curtain. The TV remote was very wonky and failed to work all together! But we still really liked it. We stayed 4 nights. The staff 2as great. They, at least, seem to be really trying. So, I upped my 3-star to a 4. Also, not the hotel’s fault, but this stretch of hotel’s are directly under the airports’ flight path. And, they had the best breakfast cafe! Cafe Del Rio!

Every time we travel to Monterey this is our go to hotel.. my oldest daughter learn to crawl here and took her first steps here and she is 9 years old now. I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in.. Miwa who checked me in was so sweet and very helpful. The room was nice and clean they have done lots of remodeling so it’s much nicer.

Our stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay was wonderful! The rooms were comfortable, and the location was perfect for visiting Fisherman’s Wharf. A special shout-out to Miwa at the front desk — she was absolutely amazing. I accidentally left a personal item in my room, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was returned to me quickly. Her kindness and professionalism really made our stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel, not just for the amenities, but for the exceptional service!

We had a great stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Monterey Bay! The location was convenient, the room was clean, and the pool was a nice bonus. I especially want to thank Miwa at the front desk — she was incredible. I accidentally left a personal item behind, and she made sure it was safely returned to me. That level of care and attention really stood out and made our experience even better. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Monterey!

Rooms were great... our ac wasn't working properly but the sliding door opened so I just opened the front door blinds and the slider and it cooled off the room quickly... I was working the Concours event so the location was great! These were the cars that were in our parking lot which i thought was dope... car week was fun!

When I first arrived, I was a little iffy on staying here considering some of the reviews talking about the grout in the bathroom/shower. When I arrived, the shower wasn’t as bad as I thought it was gonna be. The handle of the shower was rusted though and you could clearly tell it’s a little outdated. The shower is about 6 feet tall so it’s not as spacious as your regular shower…. I stayed here for almost a week and had no issues though. No neighbors being loud, no stomping since we were on first floor. The only thing I will say was the planes flying over the hotel was extremely loud and it did happen every single night. Other than that, I would totally stay here again.

I loved the open space of the room, it smelled like cleaning products which is a plus for me cause than you know they actually clean the rooms lol. Upstairs room was a plus I highly recommend I'll be back soon.
